As long as these studies are done under the assumption that carbohydrates
are beneficial, or at worst benign, they're worthless.  It might be just
the same as the studies that "prove" how bad dietary fat is.  As WE know,
all they've proven is that a combiination of high carbohydrate intake AND
a high fat intake are bad.  They've made the wrong conection in blaming
the fats, and not the carbs, and they'll never get it right until they
lose their biases and do some REAL investigations...
