This is a straw man argument.

D'adamo says that the blood groups were there long before agriculture, BUT that
their action only became significant afterwards.

In actuality, the blood type diet argument, like the ketosis argument, is a 1000
hour one.

I've heard many good criticism of D'adamo, and yet I've seen him clearly and
rationally deal with all the arguments that he has heard of. I haven't heard
if the criticizers answered his rebuttals, etc.

I think the best criticism of his theory is that many "A"s thrive on
hunter-gatherer diets - but that is circumstantial, and in fact, his theory has
never received enough funding to be the subject of a scientific clinical study -
which he himself readily admits.
