According to Wednesday's issue of the Observer,"The Independent Electoral
Commission (IEC) has announced that the presidential election has been
slated for Thursday, October 18, 2001 while the National Assembly election
will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2002."
1. Why can't both elections be held on the same day?
2. Why October when the majority of the citizens are busy with farm work?
Holding the two elections, presidential and National assembly, would be too
costly interms of elections personnel, international observers, logistics
and time. Unless there are ulterior motives, both elections should be held
on the same day.
VOTING FOR THE CANDIDATE OF YOUR CHOICE IS EVERY PERSON'S (18+) CIVIC
RESPONSIBILITY---MANNABOY
This is my Opinion, what do you 'Xalat?'
