I use a Swedish brand of light bulb, which has a very warm color,
and is very easy on the eyes when reading. Although it costs a bit,
it also lasts a long time. "Chromalux", I believe, is the name,
and I found it at the natural food coop.
I also like those very inexpensive flambeau style pole lamps,
which use halogen bulbs, and give a natural spectrum of light.
You just have to be sure that they don't get near the drapes.
