Denise, pardon my probing, but what kind of "pain-killers" were you
taking?  Synthetic Opiates and the like?  I take 5mg/500mg
hydrocodone/acetaminophen (Lortab) compound up to 3/day (sometimes 4).
I find it's the only thing that's really taken the edge off the pain,
but the medical review board in Ohio is really goofy about how much the
MD can prescribe, and for how long, so I bet it's not in the too-distant
future that I'll have to be exploring another avenue of pain relief.

As far as your dizziness & nausea, that's a pretty common reaction to
codeine and the opiates.
