Dear List,
   I am new to the list. Thank you all in advance for your tolerance of my
jumping in.

I would like to know if anyone has knowledge (or experience) about symptoms
that occur when you first go off of gluten? I just had the blood work done
today and will have a biopsy next week. I have been off of wheat for only one
week but I feel worse than ever !!  I feel for the last week like I might
imagine a person experiencing withdrawal from drug addiction. I have been
sick for 7 years. I have had my gall bladder removed and 2 operations to
lance my bile ducts and pancreatic duct. I have had severely elevated liver
enzymes and pancreatic low enzyme output.  I have been so sick I am unable to
work for 7 years and I have four children who are pretty tired of a sick
mother. I am hoping the tests are positive as there would be hope for better
health.
