Seems in just the last month quite a few products that we celiacs have
enjoyed are now considered to be possibly contaminated. (Frito-Lay chips,
Kelloggs Corn Pops to name a few) I realize this may apply to sensitive
celiacs, but is there any way to approach a company like Frito Lay and see if
they would run just one or two products first ( like basic potato chips and
perhaps a tostito corn chip) before the runs have gluten products. I don't
know about everybody else, but I don't really have to have a lot of variety,
I just would like one chip in the grocery store to be safe. Is it just too
expensive for companies to do this ( I know we are not a huge market) Our
grocery stores here just don't carry the other brands that are on CSA list
and Geocities list. Thanks for suggestions. I'll call the company or write
a nice letter, but will it do any good?? I have no financial interest in
Frito Lay - it just happens to be available. Thanks!!!
