Summary: eyelashes
Of the eleven people who answered the eyelash question, ten confirm my
observation. One has a daughter who was diagnosed celiac just because an
intern noticed her long lashes.

Three people believed the long lashes are somehow connected with a nutrient
deficiency.

The connection between CD and long eyelashes has apparently been known since
1889 and the Canadian Celiac Association lists this as a symptom.

Perhaps someone will take this up as a line of research: it seems so much
nicer a way of diagnosis than biopsy.
