Hello Everyone!

I was diagnosed with celiac disease approximately eight years ago. I know
it is accurate because my mother also has celiac disease. I am feeling much
better on the diet.

There is something that concerns me, though. My skin is very dry with scaly
white patches. The worst part of my body is my scalp. My dermatologist
insists that it's psoriasis. I wonder if he just doesn't have experience
with dermatitis herpitoformis or celiac disease. My skin condition seemed
to begin around the time my celiac symptoms came about. I am 28. I wonder
if anyone else has ever had any skin symptoms and had them diagnosed as
psoriasis only to find it was not accurate. I have been gluten free for
eight years and still have the skin condition, though sometimes it is better
than others.

Thank you for any information you might have,
Itchy Kristin
