Hi,
My name is Alan D'Arcy and I have had problems with my PC and Windows since
I first bought it. I would like to remove everything, including Windows and
start from scratch with Windows98 Plus!. I have all of my programs on
CD-ROM and floppy disc and would not worry about loosing saved information
as all my documents are also on disc. Could you please tell me how to start
everything again from the very beginning.

I can understand your frustrations with the Windows OS<g> and I have been
there too. If you have all of the diskettes for installing MS-DOS 6.22 and a
boot disk, you could just FDISK and reformat the hard drive, then copy the
system files to the hard drive. IMVHO, this is the simplest procedure if
you mean "(start from scratch)". The attached URL,
http://www.jmas.co.jp/FAQs/windows/win95/faq/part02 is a step-by-step
installation of WIN 9.x and contains alot of useful info that you may or may
not be aware of. HTH. :-)
