Thanks to all for the reply on my last message "FORMAT". Great info.
Next question. I have purchased a copy of  MS Win NT network
administration self paced training guide. It asks to create setup disks
but the command  D:\i386\winnt32/ox that the book says to use just comes
up with the error " the winnt32.exefile is linked to missing export
NTDLL.DLL:NtQuerySymbolicLinkObject".
I click OK then the message under has a white cross in a red circle &
says   "A device attached to the system is not functioning".  Click
OK.   Thats it.  I have no idea how to proceed further without a multi
boot system. I have managed to put WinNT on with Win 95 but I don't want
