Not sure about that :D, having worked for the State for ten years
consistently getting promoted, I decided it was getting too
"easy". Looking around I saw too many people just marking time -
job for life, in charge of little empires, unwilling to take
risks. Realising, also, that at each layer of management the
prejudices against disability increased, as if having a disabled
person at the same level as them devalued their feeling of self
worth. So I decided to switch to the private sector, let
capitalism judge my worth (and this from the good socialist welsh
boy - Aneurin Bevan tossed in his grave!).

Having seen both sides, the private sector is more demanding, but
is more rewarding for that. Of course it could be very different
over there.
