welcome back to vicug-l.  While we will do our best to answer your
questions, the best forum for your highly specific questions relating to
jfw and Microcrap Internet Explorer might be the guispeak mailing list
and the browser and screen reader mailing list.  Descriptions of these
lists can be found on Gregory's Camera Obscura web site or in the blist
file, which I am sending you privately.  You can also contact the people
in Remond directly with such questions at [log in to unmask]  Explorer
can be obtained at http://www.microsoft.com free of charge.

Personally, I avoid all of this trouble by using Lynx as my web browser.
It has served me quite well.
