...Last night while playing a game, I turned my head and inadvertently
scrolled the mouse down past the game borders which locked up my screen.
Ctrl-alt-del didn't do anything, so I did a hard shutdown. When I
rebooted I got the Dell logo in the upper right corner and the dos
looking screen came up that cycles through all of the connections and
memory, etc. Then stopped. And, the "Press <Del> to enter setup" message
showed, but when I pressed, nothing happened. The system sees the
keyboard, runs through the memory thing and hangs when it runs through
ATAPI, which someone told me was my cd-rom. What can I do?
If you or anyone can help, please email me here: [log in to unmask]
Thanks!
