Does anyone have an effective way of cleaning the trays from a food
dehydrator? I have an American Harvest dehydrator. The trays are made from
a white plastic. I have found it almost impossible to get the dark meat
residue to come off the slats on the trays. The trays don't fit in our
sink. I tried the bath tub; what a mess! :-o Next, I bought a galvanized
steel tub for soaking the trays and a brush for scrubbing. Still....I can't
get them clean. Any secrets? Do those of you who have such appliances
clean the trays after every use or just every now and then?
