I have been intrigued by Chomsky's ideas for several years. Actually, I
had a professor in college in the mid 70's who talked about him a bit, but
I felt that he had died or stopped writing because I NEVER heard of him in
the mainstream media. I was surprised a few years ago to see him on a
cable news channel giving a presentation. Not only was he alive, but he
was much younger than I had imagined. He must have been making quite a bit
of noise at a very young age.
I would love to begin delving deeper into Chomsky's ideas. I went to the
bookstore a few days ago and found about a half dozen books authored or
co-authored by him. What's a good one to start with? I'd appreciate any
recommendations, not only which book, but why.
Thank you,
Mona
