I don't know actually. I didn't know the guy from PA, and I met my friend,
Doug, after I was in the fire department. He's a volunteer in Western
Maryland someplace; I'm not even sure where to tell you the truth. I know
him as an electrician where I was a safety specialist. I've seen him working
off of ladders and stuff. He's got the CP, that's for sure, but I've never
seen him in a situation where he couldn't handle himself. As a matter of
fact, he was pretty safety conscious, which was my main concern as his
"safety puke." Of course, they're all safety conscious when you're looking
-- know what I mean? But I saw him do a lot of similar things that he would
have to do on the fireground too.
I'll tell you one thing, I'd follow him in a fire. Course, being a woman,
I'd run right back out...
