Since I was educated at a Special Ed boarding school from 7-19,
this part of my "education" fell far more on the school than my
parents. I feel the school made quite a good fist of it in
general, accepting that in a mixed boarding school catering for
an age range up to 19 (in a country where the age of consent for
heterosexual sex is 16) there are bound to be "romances".
I admit that this environment did not really give me confidence
to attempt dating people without a disability, performance
anxiety reaches a whole new plateau when you have to consider
such things as "inappropriate drooling"!!
Cheers,
