So, now the entertainment at Mary's will end with watching the local fire brigade demolish her historic mansion with their firehoses after the napalmed crickets scuttled under the water pump and washing machine.

Sounds like an innovative approach to circumventing preservation orders and achieving rapid demolition!  Let alone avoiding the need to paint the wood shingles!

Reminds me of the listed 19thC brick warehouse/office building which burnt down at 4.30pm in the afternoon.  After all, nobody would start a fire in office hours in the CBD when it would be seen immediately by all those bored office workers staring out the window!  Would they?
