You say you have plenty of space. Have you gone to My Computer, right
clicked on the drive, then click properties to see how much of the drive is
in use?
Some things come to mind:
1. The Recycle bin is large and full, and needs emptying;
2. The Temporary Internet File folder may be large and full;
3. Improperly shutting down the computer repeatedly would eat up space,
but I think that under Win98 that problem gets caught by scandisk;
4. In the Windows>Temp folder there may be some huge file: and
5. Virtual Memory maybe fixed and sized to large.

>I was wondering if someone could give me an idea why i might be getting a
message popping up quite often saying that i'm low or don't have any disk
space.. usually happens when i'm downloading... but what i don't understand
is i have plenty of space, and surely enough for whatever it is i'm
downloading... so why would i be getting this frequent mesage? any help
would be greatly appreciated... thanks
