Hi. I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't
locate the posting I sought in the PCBUILD archives.
I want to connect 3 pc towers to just 1 monitor, keyboard, @ mouse.
I have a catalog of kvm switches ranging in price (Cdn $) from
about $300 to close to $2000 (including special cabling) for
4 port models from companies such as Belkin, Cybex, Protec, &
Raritan. The Cybex high end version permits lots of fancy
extras, e.g. connection of a second remote user. I'm leaning
toward getting excellent quality gear but the applications
for this equipment are not mission critical.
I was wondering if anyone with experience with these switches
could comment on a preferred brand off-list to me. Thanks.
