You can run "winipcfg" or with Win 98, "ipconfig" (without the quotes) from
the Run dialog box. In bother case the MAC address is what's listed there as
"Adapter Address".

Hope that helps,

I have a computer that I want to get connected to an educational
internet feed, but need to provide the school with the machine
access code or "MAC address"
I know that I am looking for a 12 digit hexadecimal number, but
don't know where I should be looking.
