Using a 8.6G hard drive, at first partitioned this way:
2G C: drive, FAT32 - boot and win98
Extended partition
500M logic drive D:, FAT16
3G logic drive E:, FAT32
2G F: drive, FAT32
and some free space, the following table [from system commander]
should get it clearer:

I wanted to create one more, win95 bootable partition.
After running OS Wizard from System Commander Deluxe, the stuff got
weird. I still can access anything, but all partition-related
software (PartitionMagic, OS Wizard [the same one] and more) crash on
starting, and current partition table is "different and strange":

I have a new drive D: now which I can't access (all other drives are one
letter up). Notice also that five partitions have 'w' (warning) and one
has 'r' (real problem). Old D: and E: drives repeat themselves twice.
Now it seems that the best way to repair that is to wipe the partition
table and recreate it. (can you suggest another way to fix?) "The"
question
here is - how? and here is the point where I ask you to help me.
(Scandisk doesn't notice a problem.)
Another glitch: If you examine closely the later screenshot, you'll see
that all
partitions start @ Sector 1, Head 1, Cylinder x. I thought they were
supposed to start @ Sector 1, Head 0. Is there a problem here?
(the screenshot below displays these gaps as "unused")
And, here's another screenshot, to complicate things for you.
