>A very good and unexpensive sound card is SoundBlaster 64 PCI
>(or Ensoniq AudioPCI 64 - these two are the same).
I recently had this card installed in my system, and while it is nice,
it uses the host processor to work, and system memory to store midi samples.
The 200mmx machine it was installed in would get boggy when running other
applications or high-end applications while the soundcard was in use, so I
can only imagine the effect on a P100.
