INVESTIGATIVE REPORT ON DATING SERVICES FOR THE DISABLED

I am writing an investigative report on dating services for the disabled.
If you have had a bad experience with such a service or know someone who
has, please respond with details.

I was prompted to do this investigation by bad experiences with such
services. I am currently in dispute with such an organization which only
gave a partial refund, claims to have sent "profiles" it did not send, and
never mentioned that a full refund would not be given. They seem to use a
variation of the "bait and switch" tactic by sending nothing and claiming
you can "remain a member" until they do (you pay, they never send anything
and keep your money!). Others have told me that when they did receive
"profiles", such profiles had nothing to do with their applications or
requests.

I am researching whether my experiences are uncommon or whether such
services (and this one in particular) should be investegated for fraud and
taking advantage of disabled persons.

Thanks for your participation!

Paul
