Listmates,

Recently I have been experiencing pain in my hands, especially my thumbs,
which makes driving and gipping anything uncomfortable.  I frequently wake
to stiff, sore muscles at the base of my thumbs, but strangely, not the rest
of my hand.  Has anyone else experienced this type of discomfort?  Is there
any "cure".  Warm water helps remove the stiff, sore muscle, but the pain is
still present throughout the day.  Any ideas/advise/comments would be
