Hi Everyone,
The November meeting of the Visually Impaired Computer User Group of New
York City will be held on Tuesday, november twelfth at 6:30 p.m. in the
Boardroom of Selis Manor. Our esteemed speaker will be Karen Gourgey,
Director of the Computer Center for Visually Impaired People (CCVIP) at
Baruch College. Karen and her staff will do an update of CCVIP course and
seminar offerings, along with a report outlining progress on various
special projects, in particular, the Talking Tactile Atlas, which has been
very popular when discussed and demonstrated at previous VICUG-NYC
meetings. The CCVIP staff would also like to know whether there are courses
that you would be interested in either taking or teaching.
I urge other VICUG presidents or other officers to resume the practice of
announcing their monthly meetings on this list.
