This is what the author of simply-talker had to say about whether it could
crash a system. He says that an earlier version did, because of a problem
with Active Acessibility, but that it's no longer an issue. I don't know
if this means you need to update active accessibilty, and in general I
don't know enough about windows to have an opinion on this. I'm just
passing it on, since $50 windows screen readers like this one certainly
deserve attention.
