Hello All,
I've just ordered an Abit BE6r2 MoBo because my BH6 has expired.
Now that I'm going to have a motherboard that supports ATA66 I've got a few questions that you might be able to help me with.
Firstly, do I need a different type of ribbon cable to the usual HDD ribbon cable ?
Secondly, do I have to make any changes to BIOS or Windows setup to get it to recognize ATA66 ?
Thirdly, How can I verify that all is working correctly ?
BE6r2 motherboard (obviously!)
Seagate 17.2gig Hard disk
Win 98SE
Celeron 333A
