I avoid most milk products because they give me allergic shiners and
a stuffy nose if I eat a lot.
So I guess it's somewhat an allergy.
My son is allergic to milk, though.

In addition, my Brother used to drink a lot of milk (1/2 - 1 gallon/
day) and was in gymnastics- very strong and healthy. He lifted a
heavy garbage can one day. And as he was trying to swing it over his
shoulder he broke his upper arm bone. It split down the middle
because it was so thin. The docs attributed the weak/ thin bones to a
rare bone cancer that usually affects young boys (he was 22 yrs old
and past the age which that particular one strikes).
The docs teated him with Chemo, which (our family believes)
eventually introduced cancer instead and killed him.
Now after researching Milk and it's effects, I believe his weak bones
were from drinking too much milk, and I try not pushing it on my
daughter (who will be getting tested this next week for food
allergies)
