I recently won a UMAX PhotoRun digital camera in an online contest. I like
it, but need some software more than I need the camera, so want to sell it.
I haven't even unsealed it, so I figure half or 2/3 of original price would
be reasonable.
The problem is, I emailed UMAX to ask them what the camera's original price
was, but all I got back was "this model has been discontinued; you may be
able to find some at various discount businesses." -- not exactly an answer.
Where can I go to determine the original price of computer equipment? Or
does anyone happen to know what the original price of this item was? It's
happened before that I needed to know an orginal price, or a current price
of discontinued hardware, but have not been able to locate a site with such
information. I'm beginning to wonder if there is such a central location,
though it would make sense that someone who is dealing with non-current
equipment would have such a site.
TIA for the assist!
