Hello Folks,
My Doctor has recommended that I take the following due to my red blood cells
being enlarged.

CITRACAL CALCIUM CITRATE plus Vitamin 'D.' Two tablets daily (One each
  morning and evening without food).

MULTI VITAMIN WITH MINERALS. Two tablets daily. (one each morning and evening
  with food).

'B' COMPLEX 100. One tablet with food every morning.

B12 500 mcg. One tablet daily with food.

All the above are gluten free and wheat free.

I have been taking these tablets for approximately ten weeks. A second blood
test (after taking these tablets for about 6/7 weeks) revealed no change
whatsoever.

I'm also drinking gallons of water every day.

Has anyone else got this problem and had more productive results?
If so, would you please let me into your secret.

I'm seventy years young and a diagnosed celiac for about twenty years. During
those twenty years I have ALWAYS STRICTLY ADHERED to a Gluten free diet.
Incidentally, I'd never felt better before she recommended this regime.
The Doctor has even phoned me at my home several times as she appears to be
quite concerned.

Is there something more that I can do to alleviate this problem with my
enlarged blood cells? Perhaps someone knowledgeable could tell me what are
the reasons for her concern. How damaging can enlarged red blood cells be?

Patricia.

Northern California.
