Hi List,
I wrote a while ago regarding my B12 deficiency. It transpires that
possibly as a consequence of this, I have pernicious anaemia, at what
level I do not know.
I have started B12 injections, but have been told that they are now for
life!! Why should this be? Surely when my gut recovers I should be able
to absorb B12 normally. Why must I continue post this 'emergency' period
of injections every 2 days, to have an injection every 3 months?
I am also taking and continue to take folic acid, on direction of my
consultant. Can you overdose on Folic Acid?
Thanks for a most useful and supportive list.
