Fourteen years ago my husband and I had a diabetic child stay with us from
the YFU program. Our diabetic son stayed with her family when he went to
Germany. If you have a child who might want to go to another country and is a
celiac take the opportuntiy to assure that your child will have a safe place
to live when he makes the exchange. We visited her family when we went to
Germany a few years later.
