To all CSUN participants (please distribute as appropriate):
Bank of America will be at CSUN again this year, with a focus on both
Talking ATMs and accessible on-line banking.
The Bank will have one Talking ATM at the conference, in the Marriott Lobby
by the coffee bar, across from the main entrance. It is along the wall,
next to the lobby, near the Destinations restaurant. There will be earbuds
in a basket on top of the ATM and also at the Bank of America booth (number
410 in the New Orleans Room). I hope everyone will have a chance to try
the machine and let the B of A folks know what you think. Bank of America
continues to be on the forefront of the Talking ATM issue, with over 3,200
Talking ATMs installed across the country.
Bank of America will also provide On-line Banking demonstrations at their
booth in the New Orleans room In addition, the Bank will have a two time
Paralympic gold medalist at the booth during selected times. Bank of
America's commitment to an accessible website is described on its
Accessible Banking page at http://www.bankofamerica.com/accessiblebanking/
Finally, B of A will be sponsoring the speaker and exhibitor reception
this year, on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m.
Thanks,
Lainey Feingold
(For people interested in advocacy strategies for accessibility issues such
as Talking ATMs and accessible websites, I will be doing a CSUN session on
Friday, at 2:00 in Newport C - Hilton with Charlie Ayotte from T-Base
Communications. The session is about using civil rights laws to increase
access to information and information technology.)
