This does look like an interesting device for the low vision crowd. The
information on their website is dumbed down, as usual. It must have a fixed
focal length as it only offers 5X magnification. I would be skeptical of
their estimated battery life as they do not give any details as to the use
of the built-in light. It is probably a proprietary battery design since
they do not mention anything about replacement. This could be quite
expensive over the lifetime of the device, plus the inconvenience of having
to send it back for replacement.
I hope that someone will respond on-list if they know more, or have seen it.
Telesensory does offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

Subject: Anyone Seen the New Product PICO from Telesensory?
Hello List,
I recently received some advertising from Telesensory for a new product=
called PICO. It is a very small CCTV like device, about the size of a small
notebook. I am tempted to buy it but at almost $800, I wanted to= see if
anyone on the list has seen or used this product first. Thanks.
Sherry Wells
