I have the same problem and use the same work around you describe. I'm
running JFW 5.0 on Windows XP. I have Adobe Reader 6 installed, and I'm
using the latest Internet Explorer 6. If anyone has a solution to this
problem, please let me know or post it to the mailing list. Thanks!

Subject: [VICUG-L] opening PDF's directly from the Web
Catherine brought up a point I'd been meaning to ask about for a while: Do
others using JAWS have trouble accessing PDF's that are opened from within
Internet Explorer? I can't seem to do this; I just seem to get a blank
page. The way I've handled it is to right-click on the link that opens
the
PDF and select Save Target As. Is there a reason I can't directly access
PDF's with JAWS from within I.E.?
Thanks.
Rachel
