Hi Folks

Is the Talking Tape Measure as sold by "Maxi-Aids phone number is 800-522-6294."
An extendable tape measure?

Or Alternatively is it an Infrared device which one can "point at distant
Object"
and obtain the distance by speech?

It would be great if it is a Point and speak the distance!

Look forward to reading more!

I received the following information request and don't know the answer. I
checked your archives but my search didn't provide any clues. Can any of
you help? Here is the question:

 > We have been snooping for a talking electronic measuring device.
 > You know those things you can buy that you aim and push a button,
 > and then it tells you (visually) the distance to the object or wall
 > you aimed it at? I am sure I ran across a talking one a while back,
 > but can't remember where or the cost. Do you have any idea where
 > they are available?
