                High my name is Andrew.  I am interested in becoming a translater for
blind people so they can read books in brail.  I am going to use a scanner
to scan the printed information and than translate into brail by useing a
brail inbosser.  I have never done this in my life and I need all the help
I can get from all the people on this list.  Is their a translating program
out their for doing translating.  Can any one on this list tell me where i
can get the information to get this idea started or phone numbers so i can
get more information.  Does any one know if their is a need for brail
translaters in the U S A.  I will be useing a scanner that has arkenstone o
c r program on the computer with a flat bed scanner.  Also I have windows
95 with dectalk and windows eyes 3.0 on the computer.  Also I have
wordperfect 5 and wordperfect 8 on my computer.  I hope some one can help
me in making this idea work because I am excited in becoming a translater
for blind people so they can read books.  I hope to here from any one on
this list that wants to help me.  I hope to here from some one hopely soon.
