Work as a member of a team to improve access to assistive technology
devices and services for all Pennsylvanians with disabilities!  This
position is ideal for the organized individual who is able to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously, finds searching f or resources, answers and
solutions to problems a stimulating and challenging venture, and who
enjoys experiencing a variety of activities each day.  Computer skills a
plus.

Responsibilities include:

-- the provision of consumer-responsive information and referral (I&R)
regarding assistive technology devices and services,

--the coordination of a statewide system for I&R regarding assistive
technology,

--the coordination of special projects (Recycled Equipment Exchange
Program;  activities in one or more policy areas),

--the development and dissemination of information and outreach materials,
including alternate formats,

--the implementation of training and outreach presentations to a variety
of audiences.

Requirements:  Bachelors Degree in a disability or technology-related
field, plus three years of technology-related experience.  Equivalent
combination of education/experience may be considered.  Requires excellent
communication and interpersonal skills;  ability to travel (including
overnight/weekends).

Salary range high 20's to mid 30's, depending upon experience and
education.  Note:  this is a grant-funded position.
