I install Cable Modems so I can anser this one. Most Cable modems right now
only work at 10Mps. I think 3com has a model that works at 100Mps. Getting a
PCI card will increase throughput in and out of the computer since it's
32-bit versus 16-bit ISA.
We use 10Mps hubs without the auto sensing (and a 10/100Mps cost a lot more)
