Yes, I just saw a chart in a magazine that shows a 70% increase in
memory prices since July. I've also heard that large increases in price
can be expected as a result of the recent earthquake in Taiwan. The
memory producers' plants were not damaged but there are widespread power
outages that have reduced their production capabilities. This is what
I've heard but have no other supporting evidence.
