There should be no reason I know of as to why your 250 MB external Iomega
Zip Drive should be recognized. Just install the software which Iomega
provided with it or download the drivers from their website. Be sure to
check for a line in the config.sys file which would look something like this
"lastdrive=H" if it's there. Make sure there is at least one additional
drive latter assigned than you are actually going to be using. If you don't
there will be no room for the drive assignment. Change it if necessary and
reboot for it to take affect.

IOMEGA EXTERNAL ZIP DRIVE
Can you help me for how to do :
I have just purchased one dell computer with buil-in iomega zip drive of 100
mb.
I am also using iomega external drive of 250 mb and have some data saved
from other computers which i want to read and copy on my new computer but
this one does not recognize the external parallell drive of 250 mb.
Is there a way to recognize my external drive all keeping the built-in drive
untouched. (assigning a new drive letter at least temporaryly)
thanks
Kansara
