    Actually, yes... CD-ROMs need individual drivers with an entry in
config.sys to work in MS-DOS mode. I would try hitting Toshiba's website and
looking there for a DOS compatible driver for your cd drive. The driver .zip
or .exe would more than likely include instructions on how to add the
correct entries to config.sys and autoexec.bat, or include a program/batch
file to do it for you.
