I use this process daily as a "backup" to a second hard drive and also do it
to copy from my master hard drive to client boxes that I build. It will copy
all files except swap file if there are no programs open expect explorer and
systray (use CAD to check). If any other program is open, then it may or may
not copy a certain file. e.g. MSPhone, when open will not copy its phone
log, exchange.pst will not copy if program is open, etc.
