In my experience these type of diets prime the body for putting on lots of
weight afterwards. I was eating 100% raw vegan food - fruits and
vegetables for 1 1/2 years and each time I went off it - I would put on
massive amounts of weight really quickly. Also even though once a fan of
fruit eating, I now think it is unbalanced. Maybe for a week like this may
be good to clean out the system, but I have seen problems from doing it for
too long.
