Grant,

I've been doing alot of reading lately, and everything I've seen says that
water with high mineral content seems to be much better for people.

Distilled water is mineral free. I have read that Andrei Sakharov when
embarking on his hunger strike, made sure he drank specifically
mineral water to assist his electrolyte balance. On the other hand he
was only a physicist ! :)
