Interesting thought, Michelle.  Do any of you spastics, like me, find
that the unexpected touch of someone else can be quite startling?  My
wife, Laura, always tells me ahead of time if she's going to give me a
caress or a pat.  If I'm expecting the sensation then it's ok, but if
I'm caught unawares the I get what my five-year-old, Anna, calls "Daddy
shivers".
