Marie, Ponderosa is not Sou Yellow. Most CCA (pressure treated) lumber is
Sou Yellow. Perhaps the info can be obtained from a manufacturer of that
product. The forest products lab in Lufkin TX (409 639 8180) is always a
good bet for good wood info. I called them today on another matter &
inquired about your question. They said they would fax the info to me
before I could explain the nature of my inquiry. So if you call them, they
may think there is a real run on yellow pine in the NYC area.
