I can top Pushkin spotting in Subway!
Undersigned spotted (I think) C. Gray, noted double hung Metro Historian with
Walkperson-type device, about 4:20 PM at 79/Bway. Subject attired in blue
shorts and blue polo shirt. Helped woman with stroller up stairs from Subway
(north side 79 St uptown exit), crossed B'way (in crosswalk, like good
out-of-towner) and entered OMH HQ from B'way bldg entrance. For those
interested, OMH HQ NOT repeat NOT directly above Zabar Emporium, but across
80 Street. So much for bagel steam theory of window pane pain, unless bagels
or other items cooked across street.
Undersigned attempted to speak to subject, who pretended to be engrossed in
sounds emanating from portable music device. Nature of music unknown to
monitor.
Also spotted Mysterious Ray, lurking in Manhattan office bldg lobby, earlier
in day.
No sign of Aunt Estelle in Toledo, however.
